New to Swing?
Brand new to swing dance? Perfect!
This intro series will give you everything you need to know to get out on the social dance floor and tear it up all night long.
The series is 4 weeks long and starts over each month. Class runs from 7:30-8:30.
All you need to do to get started is register with the button below, or show up a little bit early on the first day to get all checked in.
Lindy Hop is the grand daddy of all swing dances from the 1920s to the 40s.
This is the dance that Eastside Stomp considers our specialty. All of the material from the Intro to Swing class series works hand in hand with everything you’ll learn in Lindy Hop.
We rotate between three, 4-week Level One Lindy Hop series classes designed to get you confident on the floor!
-Classic 6 and 8 count moves
Balboa is a classic swing dance from southern California.
Its close embrace and shuffle-filled footwork make it ideal for dancing to super fast music without breaking too much of a sweat.
We dance it to all of the same music that we play on a Friday, so it’s a great way to add some more depth to your dancing!

Slow Dance to Jazz & Blues
Mondays from 6-8pm for 10 weeks
1st class is April 3rd
10 weeks of slow dance intensives with a focus on technique in connection, close embrace, musicality, and vintage movement. Also, this is intended to be a dedicated group of dancers to grow and practice with, so come ready to really dig in and make significant progress!
Solo Jazz for Lindy Hoppers
Thursdays from 8-10pm for 10 weeks
1st class is April 6th
10 weeks of Solo Jazz intensives, focusing on learning fundamental vocabulary, honing technique, and learning a short choreography. This class not only provides instruction, but also a group of like-minded dancers to practice with!
